Blockchain profile - strato-dev or ethereum

#1

When running bloc init you are prompted to pick a blockchain profile, either strato-dev or ethereum. What is the difference between these? If the answer is one is a development environment and one isn’t then how does the apiURL come into account?

Thanks!

Hi Chris, running bloc init has been deprecated. Where did you find reference to this? We now provide a development instance you can run locally. Please see the updated docs here, https://developers.blockapps.net/install/local/

Maybe this is part of my confusion. I started by trying to come Solidity code from Visual Studios:

I also tried to follow this blog post and got stuck at the deploy step.
Further, I found several related issues:

Is the VS integration still working? What is the way to go?
